LexAmi is a family-owned business dedicated to helping professional educators
excel at their jobs. We are passionate and well-informed about literacy
and trends in education. We have served educators throughout the Southeast

classroom materials since 1996. Most people know us simply as Toni and
William--your "book friends."

Professional Development
In addition to the workshops and professional development plans (see below) that we create
in house, we also work with several companies that provide opportunities for
professional learning. The following company is devoted primarily to professional
development. Please note that several of the "supplemental" companies
listed below also offer some professional development. Call us for
assistance.
Professional Workshops LexAmi produces intensive literacy workshops on a variety of topics. We utilize the best literacy experts. Our workshops are small so that they can be effective and personal. Most are limited to 75-100 participants on a first-come, first-served basis.
In the past we have worked with such distinguished educators as Janet Allen,
Stephanie Harvey, Anne Goudvis, Richard Allington, Sharon Taberski, Tony Stead, Linda Dorn, Diane DeFord, Ralph Fletcher,
Debbie Miller, Gay Su
Pinnell and Irene Fountas, Lance Gentile, Cris Tovani, Richard Gentry, Terri Greene,
Joanne Monroe, Max Brand, Franki Sibberson and others.
If you would like for us to develop a particular
workshop for your district, please call Toni at (800) 607-5692.
