First a word of congratulations!  You have in your hands a fabulous resource for teaching comprehension strategies for grades 3-8.  I know, the box says 3-6, but we have had a lot of success with these strategies at grades 7 and 8.

Note the menu selections on the top left of the page.  These links will take you to lists of discounted trade titles used in teaching the strategies, professional books and videos which will be of great benefit, as well as other related resources.  The Toolkit is based on the thinking in the professional book Strategies That Work, by Stephanie Harvey and Anne Goudvis.

The videos, Think Nonfiction and Read, Write Talk, are especially useful in understanding what a classroom looks like while teaching comprehension.
